Simply Come is my blog to share thoughts and insights on everyday life. The purpose of this website is just so I can unleash my most inward, honest thoughts, without any reserve -- and most of all, I want to share the love of Jesus with you. I want you to not only read but also experience this unfailing love from our Father in Heaven whenever you are, wherever you are, and whatever you're going through. Whether you believe in God or not, I hope that you will continue to follow my experience and find such interesting.

Matthew Renert is an average Canadian guy, born in the year 1990. This blog was started on August 11, 2008, as I felt that I have the inspiration to start a blog so that I can express things that I felt has impacted my life. The purpose is just so I can unleash my most inward thoughts, without reserve, on here. I'll be adding more content onto this blog, hopefully on a regular basis. I don't expect many to read it to be absolutely honest with you; often times I refer back here just so I can read it myself instead of pulling up random Microsoft Word file on my computer. But I do hope to share my experiences in my spiritual walk and share Jesus if you happen to be reading my posts right now. Whether you believe in God or not, I wish that you will come just as you are, with an open heart and open ears, as I have been on here. My goal is to write only what God inspires me to say. You might see a couple articles that were published before this site was born, well, I've been writing even before I made this site, saving the writings on my computer. Just not on a regular basis!

A Christian by faith, my parents never forced me to believe anything, or do anything I never wanted to do. They have prepared me a framework for me, and educate me to be someone knowledgeable in this regard. When I was 8 years old, clear enough and able to think independently, I prayed to God, admitted that I was a sinner, and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. I have changed significantly since then. Since I opened up my heart to God, I have opened up my heart to everyone around me. I am currently a member of a Christian & Mission Alliance church.

The most encouraging thing you can do is share what God has done in your life for you by sending me an email. If permitted, I'll be more than glad to republish it on here under your name. If not, I will be extremely glad to get to know you.

It took me a while to think and search for a good and available domain name, but I finally settled on Simply Come -- as I believe that when I simply come before God and pour out my life, when I simply come on here to share my walk with Jesus. I hope that everyone will just come before the Lord just as you are, broken and sinful like me, or happy and rejoiced in the grace of our Lord Jesus. I hope that you will share your spiritual walk and build out each other in Christ. Plus, as Marketing 101 goes, the name is easy to remember! ;)
